On April 28, 2021, the 1st SFB 901 seminar in the summer semester will take place.

4:00 - 5:00 PoC
Speakers: Dr. Christian Soltenborn, Dr. Manuel Malatyali, Jonas Hanselle
Title: Applying CRC Concepts: PoC & AI Marketplace

The talk will be held via BigBlueButton.

Abstract:

The CRC901 Proof of Concept implementation (PoC) has successfully demonstrated many of the concepts developed in the course of the CRC901. Currently, the PoC development is continued by a team of five students. The first part of the talk will report on the current state of the PoC project and will discuss problems and next steps.

The natural continuation is to try to apply the PoC concepts to real-world scenarios. This is where the AI Marketplace (AIM) comes into play: The AIM is a BMWi funded, 3-year project which aims at building a platform for the sake of bringing together producing industry and AI experts with the goal of improving productivity in the field of product creation. The second part of the talk will give an introduction to the AIM project and provide insights into the current state of the AIM.

Finally, we will discuss scenarios of integrating the PoC into the AIM, which is planned for the last phase of the AIM project.
