On June 19, 2023, Alexander Tornede has successfully defended his PhD thesis on "Advanced Algorithm Selection with Machine Learning: Handling Large Algorithm Sets, Learning From Censored Data, and Simplyfing Meta Level Decisions".

Alexander Tornede was team member of the SFB 901 subproject B2 and his supervisor is Prof. Dr. Eyke Hüllermeier. We sincerely congratulate Alexander on passing the examination!
