The paper "LiBRe: Label-Wise Selection of Base Learners in Binary Relevance for Multi-label Classification" written by Marcel Wever, Alexander Tornede, Felix Mohr and Eyke Hüllermeier, SFB 901 project B2, wins the Best Paper Award (Frontier Prize) on the 18th International Symposium on Intelligent Data Alalysis (IDA 2020).
IDA: Advancing Intelligent Data Analysis requires novel, potentially game-changing ideas. IDA’s mission is to promote ideas over performance: a solid motivation can be as convincing as exhaustive empirical evaluation. The Frontier Prize is awarded to the most visionary contribution. The prize consists of a plaque and a cheque for 1000 euros (sponsored by KNIME).
We sincerely congratulate Marcel, Alexander, Felix, and Eyke on their outstanding success!
