GI-Talk given by Prof. Dr. Eyke Hüllermeier

On April 2, 2019, Prof. Dr. Eyke Hüllermeier will give a public GI-Talk on "Künstliche Intelligenz und Maschinelles Lernen".
                                                                                                                                        

Abstract:

Machine Learning (ML) has developed rapidly in recent years and has led to significant advances in Artificial Intelligence. The lecture will discuss the change from the knowledge-based design of intelligent systems to more data-driven, ML-based approaches. Current examples show the advantages and potentials of machine learning as well as the limits and problems of machine learning. The growing social relevance of AI and its implications for research will also be discussed.
