Ontology Optimization Models

Overview

The Ontology Optimization Models tool implements the process of Algebraic Modeling Language (AML) Derivation for an ontology represented optimization model. A such represented model is loaded and then transformed into an XML document describing model statements in a target AML by the aid of SPARQL-DL ontology queries and XSLT Transformations. The resulting XML can be validated against a schema.

Relations to other tools

The demonstrator is to be extended by an AML Reengineering component that is currently under development. AML Reengineering implements the reverse functionality, i.e., transforming an AML model into an ontology representation.
