The paper "Eight Ways to put your FPGA on Fire -- A Systematic Study of Heat Generators" written by Markus Happe, Hendrik Hangmann, Andreas Agne and Christian Plessl within the SFB 901 project C2 wins the Best Paper Award on ReConFig 2012.
The International Conference on ReConFigurable Computing and FPGAs (ReConFig 2012) held in Cancun, Mexico, will provide a leading edge forum for researchers and engineers from across the world to present their latest research and to discuss future research and applications. The conference seeks to promote the use of reconfigurable computing and FPGA technology for research, education, and applications, covering from hardware architectures and devices to custom computers and high performance systems.
ReConFig is one of the leading forums in the field. In 2011, for example, 144 submissions were received from 34 countries. After a peer-review process, 51 papers were accepted for oral presentation.
We sincerely congratulate the team of authors on their outstanding success!
