American student from the Ohio State University stayed for eleven weeks at our institute.

During the summer the SFB 901 was supported by another American student for eleven weeks. Kacper Wardega studies Computer Science and Engineering at the Ohio State University and spent his summer in Paderborn for a research internship. He worked within the group of Alexander Skopalik in the area of reputation systems and game theory. His main contribution was the development of new and existing simulation methods for infinitely repeated games. Hereby new insights have been gained on the effects of reputation systems. Furthermore, the implemented tools will be further developed and used within the subproject A3. Kacper Wardega's stay in Germany was sponsored by the RISE program of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in cooperation with the DFG.
