The first OWL Workshop on "Markets, Games, and Design" was held at the University of Paderborn and Bielefeld University from September 12-16, 2012.
uring these days recent results on the connection between game theory and the microeconomic analysis of markets were discussed by researchers from Great Britain, France, Japan, Netherlands, USA and Germany. A particular focus was put on the transfer of solution concepts for cooperative games to market scenarios in order to better understand the functionality of markets and directions that guide an efficient market design.The workshop "Markets, Games, and Design", co-organzied by the SFB 901, will be held at the Universities of Paderborn and Bielefeld from September 12-16, 2012.
