On June 22, 2018, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Saifur Rahman (Purdue University) will give a talk about "Shared Prosperity (or Lack Thereof) in the Sharing Economy" in the context of the SFB 901.

On June 13, 2018, Dr. Gero Herkenrath (Trusted Shops GmbH) give a talk about "Dealing with Trust - Improving a business's reputation with Trusted Shops" in the context of the SFB 901. Moreover, Dominik Gutt and Dr. Behnud Mir Djawadi from SFB 901 will present some results on „Reputation in OTF-Markets“.

On May 4, 2018, Darius Schlangenotto has successfully defended his PhD thesis on "Consumer Responses to Paid Search - Empirical Evidence from a Bricks-and-Mortar Retailer".

On May 2, 2018, Prof. Dr. Marcin Bienkowski (University of Wroclaw) will give a talk about "On phase-based algorithms for online file migration" in the context of the SFB 901.

On February 21, 2018, Arne Schwabe has successfully defended his PhD thesis on "Data-Centre Traffic Optimisation using Software-Defined Networks".
