On July 26, 2017, Frederik Simon Bäumer has successfully defended his PhD thesis on "Indikatorbasierte Erkennung und Kompensation von ungenauen und unvollständig beschriebenen Softwareanforderungen".
The paper "Active Coevolutionary Learning of Requirements Specifications from Examples" written by Marcel Wever, Lorijn van Rooijen, and Heiko Hamann within a cooperation of the SFB 901 projects B1 and B2 wins the Best Paper Award on the Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference (GECCO 2017).
