On May 21, 2015, Sebastian Kniesburges has successfully defended his PhD thesis on "Distributed Data Structures and the Power of topological Self-Stabilization".
On May 11, 2015, Jun.-Prof. Dr. Lars Metzger from the TU Dortmund will give a talk about "Alliance formation in contests with incomplete information" in the context of the SFB 901 colloquium.
On April 27, 2015, Sebastian Abshoff has successfully defended his PhD thesis on "On the Complexity of Fundamental Problems in Dynamic Ad-hoc Networks". Sebastian Abshoff is team member of the SFB 901 subproject A1 and his supervisor is Prof. Dr. Friedhelm Meyer auf der Heide. We sincerely congratulate Sebastian on passing the examination!
On March 16, 2015, Dr. Jonas Lèfevre from the University of Nice will give a talk about "About Population Protocols. Selfstabilizing Algorithms" in the context of the SFB 901 colloquium.
On March 3, 2015, Prof. Harald Räcke from the Technische Universität München will give a talk about "Fast Tree Approximations of Graphs" in the context of the SFB 901 colloquium.
The course is a combination of a lecture and seminar for PhD students, PostDocs and interested master students and takes place as a block course end of January (lecture part) and end of February 2015 (seminar part).
